Big Worcester Fentanyl Bust: 3 Arrested

WORCESTER, MA — The Drug Enforcement Administration, state and local police executed a large drug bust in Worcester on Friday night, the culmination of a months-long investigation, authorities said.

Police seized 950 grams of fentanyl, 120 grams of cocaine, and cash, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office. Authorities did not immediately say where the raid was carried out.

Three people were also arrested: Amin Ventura Polanco Mena, 36, and Yoerlyn F. Merejo-Mercado, 31, both of Worcester; and Lester Deleon, 25, of Lawrence. They are facing various drug trafficking charges and are set to be arraigned in Worcester on Monday.
