Body Found On Mass. Pike; Questions Abound
Police don't know how the victim suffered such severe injuries, how the body got there, or the gender or identity of the victim.
AUBURN, MA — Police are investigating after a body was found on the Mass. Pike Wednesday night. The victim apparently suffered severe injuries. The gender and identity, as well as how the body got there, are unknown.
The body was spotted around 10 p.m. on I-90 West at Exit 10. Police said there were no nearby overpasses or unattended vehicles in the area. There were also no reports of pedestrians on the highway.
Police are still investigating the cause of the injuries.

Two lanes of the Pike was partially closed overnight while police investigated.
