Bomb Threat Called In To Worcester Jewish Center

Police are investigating the source of a called in bomb threat to a preschool.

WORCESTER, MA — Police are investigating the source of a bomb threat called in to a school at a Jewish center in Worcester Tuesday.

Shortly before noon on Tuesday, Jan. 31, police responded to the Jewish Community Center on Salisbury Street for a reported bomb threat that was phone in to the preschool.

The school was evacuated and police searched the grounds and building along with a bomb detecting K9 and state police.

After a thorough search police did not locate any devices and the building was deemed safe.

Police are working to determine the origin of the phone call.
