Boston Woman Charged In Worcester Carjacking

The woman took a man's car at gunpoint along Main Street Monday afternoon, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — A 40-year-old East Boston woman was arrested and charged Monday after an armed robbery in the Main South neighborhood.

According to police, a woman took a man's car at gunpoint just before 5 p.m. Monday. The armed robbery happened near Main and Kilby streets.

A short time later, police saw the man's stolen car near Main and Oread streets. Police arrested Sonia Walker and charged her with armed robbery. Police have identified a second suspect, but did not immediately arrest them on Monday.
