Boy, 4, Drowns In Southbridge Pool: DA
The Sunday drowning is under investigation by state and local police, according to the Worcester Country District Attorney.
SOUTHBRIDGE, MA — A 4-year-old boy drowned Sunday afternoon in a private pool in Southbridge, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.
The drowning happened at around 4 p.m. Sunday at a home along Sunny Hill Road, according to the Southbridge Fire Department. A Southbridge police officer was the first to arrive, and attempted to revive the boy using CPR.
The boy died at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, according to fire Chief Paul Normandin Jr.

Although the incident appears accidental, state police with the Worcester County DA are investigating the death.
State Police Detectives assigned to the DA’s office and @SbgePolice are currently investigating what appears to be the accidental drowning of a 4-year-old in a private pool in Southbridge.
