35 Acres Burn In Sutton Brush Fire
The brush fire broke out along Route 146 on Monday afternoon. Firefighters from multiple towns and Connecticut responded.

SUTTON, MA — A brush fire broke out along Route 146 in Sutton on Monday afternoon, eventually burning across 35 acres, according to firefighters.
The fire was reported just after 2 p.m. between exits 6 and 7. That location is about 7-1/2 miles south of the Mass Pike interchange. Firefighters from Millbury, Auburn, Sutton, Oxford, and Upton were all called to the scene to assist.
The fire was under control by around 4:30 p.m.
Responding to #Sutton Sutton, Rt. 146 northbound between exits 6 & 7 for a large brush fire. Sutton, Northbridge, Millbury, Oxford & Upton on scene. @MAFireDistrict7 West 1 Brush Strike Team has also been activated. Our drone is enroute for overhead surveillance of the incident.
