Bullet Found In Teacher's Closet At Webster High School
K9s trained to sniff out explosives were used in a sweep of Bartlett High. Officials say there is no safety issue at this time.

WEBSTER, MA—A bullet was found in a teacher's closet at Bartlett High School in Webster on Monday morning, according to the schools' superintendent.
The closet is typically locked, and the teacher was getting supplies when the bullet was discovered. The school administrators immediately notified the school resource officer, the superintendent and police.
The Webster Police department, the Dudley Police Department, the Auburn Police Department and the Massachusetts Environmental Police swept the school, using specially-trained K9s and metal detector wands. At this time, the school was put in a hold in this place.
Classes resumed after the sweep.
"Safety is our number one priority and the sweep resulted in no further findings," said Ruthann Petruno-Goguen, superintendent, in a letter. "The school is continuing to work with the Webster police to investigate this situation."
