Founded in 1947, the Worcester Youth Orchestras is central Massachusetts' premier youth orchestra program and the largest outside of Boston.
Through its five orchestras, jazz & wind ensembles and chamber music programs, it reaches more than 500 students each season. Over 4,500 concert goers attend WYO's 15+ events and concerts around Greater Worcester including the popular and sold out Annual Family Holiday Pops at Mechanics Hall.
Open to all students grades 12 & under on string, brass, wind, percussion, piano & harp. Financial Aid & Scholarships available to all.
