Chef Alton Brown Visits Birchtree Bread Co., Acoustic Java, in Worcester
Everyone's favorite scientific chef made it a point to visit Birch Tree while he was in town on Wednesday.
WORCESTER, MA — Alton Brown visited Worcester on Wednesday, and decided to spend his extra time in the Woo at Birch Tree Bread Company.
Brown, creator and host of the longtime Food Network hit "Good Eats," was in town to perform his "Eat Your Science" at the Hanover Theatre, heard about the bakery on Green Street and decided to check it out.
He also stopped at Acoustic Java, the company's coffee roaster, for a cappuccino before heading to Birch Tree.
