SPENCER, MA — A 2-year-old was injured Wednesday afternoon by a driver backing out of a driveway, according to Spencer police. The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. at an apartment complex along Bixby Road in Spencer south of the downtown area. Spencer police said the child was not severely injured, but was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester for his or her injuries.
