Chris Evans Series Comes Back To Film In Worcester
The series "Defending Jacob" will be in Worcester again on Sunday and some roads will be closed for the filming.

WORCESTER, MA — Chris Evans may be back in Worcester this weekend. Paramount films will be in the city on Sunday filming the series he stars in, "Defending Jacob." Officials aren't sure if Evans himself will be present but several roads will be closed on Sunday for the filming.
Evans has been filming the series all around the Commonwealth for a few months now, including in Newton, Belmont and one other time in Worcester. Last time Evans was in the city he was filming along Suffolk Street in the local bar, Vincent's. He was out of sight of fans for the most part, but maybe he'll be more open this weekend.
"Defending Jacob" is an Apple TV miniseries. Evans plays the Middlesex District Attorney as well as the father of a 14-year-old boy, Jacob, accused of murder. Evans isn't the only star on set, the actor playing Jacob is Jaeden Martell who starred in the horror movie "It." Jacob's mother is also played by Michelle Dockery of "Downton Abbey."

Evans is no stranger to the Commonwealth, in fact, he's a Sudbury boy. He has so much hometown pride, he even made his way to his high school reunion this year.
The series will be filming on Sunday from 10 a.m until 9 p.m. and several streets will be closed. Local resident traffic will be allowed to enter and exit with the help of the Worcester Police Department.
