Christmas Shooting In Worcester Leaves Man Seriously Injured

The shooting happened along Webster Street early Saturday morning, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — A shooting in Worcester early Christmas morning left a local man seriously wounded, according to police.

Worcester police were called to a home along Webster Street just before 5 a.m. Saturday. Inside, they found a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said a party had been going on inside the home.

Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police did not immediately announce any arrests related to the shooting.

The Christmas incident is the second serious shooting in Worcester this month. On Dec. 8, James Johnson and Marcus Thibodeau were shot and killed outside the Diamond Inn The Rough bar, 271 Grafton St.
