“We are excited to launch this degree and add to our graduate portfolio,” said Holly Dolan, professor and chair of Clark’s Department of Education. “Based on our long-standing partnership with Worcester Public Schools, we are pleased to offer three free courses to teachers enrolled in the program. With over 200 alumni working in the Worcester Public Schools, we recognize that a degree from Clark University is a valuable asset.”

The M.Ed. curriculum emphasizes educational research, equipping educators with tools and methods to improve classroom practice and advance equitable learning across diverse school settings.

Students can complete the 10-course program either full- or part-time, with the option to finish in as little as one year. Coursework can also be tailored to align with individual career goals, interests, and areas of practice, including interdisciplinary options.

Clark University is currently accepting applications for the fall semester, and officials say generous scholarships are available.

University officials note that the M.Ed. program does not lead to teaching licensure. Educators seeking licensure can pursue Clark’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program.
