WORCESTER, MA — A business school at a Worcester institution has been named one of the nation’s outstanding business schools by The Princeton Review.
Clark University’s School of Business was included in the education services company's Best Business Schools for 2027 list and was recognized for its on-campus Master of Business Administration program as one of the best in the country. Clark also ranked No. 6 nationally for schools with the Most Competitive Students, according to The Princeton Review.
The Most Competitive Students ranking is based on MBA student ratings of classmates’ competitiveness, workload and academic pressure at their schools. Clark was one of 61 schools among 208 recognized institutions to appear on at least one of The Princeton Review’s Top 10 category lists.
"The Princeton Review recognition reflects the commitment of our faculty, staff, and students to creating a challenging and collaborative MBA experience," Jing Zhang, dean of the Clark University School of Business, said in a statement. "We are especially proud of our students earning a #6 national ranking for Most Competitive Students, a distinction that reflects their drive to excel, support one another, and engage deeply in their learning."
The Princeton Review does not assign an overall ranking for business schools. Instead, it recognizes schools in 18 category-based Top 10 lists.
The 2027 selections were based on data collected during the 2025-26 academic year from surveys of administrators at 439 business schools and 37,600 MBA students, according to The Princeton Review. More than 60 data points were considered, including academics, faculty, admissions, career services, technology, student experiences and career plans.
Clark’s School of Business offers full-time and part-time MBA programs with concentrations in accounting, business analytics, finance, healthcare analytics, management, marketing and social change and sustainability.
The school also oversees Clark’s undergraduate business programs, including majors in accounting, business administration, business analytics and applied AI, finance and marketing, along with the university’s entrepreneurship program.
