WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man has been arrested in connection to a double-stabbing at Clark University Tuesday evening that left two men severely injured.

According to Worcester police, officers went to a gym at the Clark campus along Downing Street around 6:30 p.m. after a report of a stabbing. The 17 and 23-year-old victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Witnesses told police the victims and a third man — Knowledge Bethea, 18, a Meade Street resident — got into a fight during a basketball game. Bethea was arrested at the scene on charges of two counts of armed assault to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
