Delays Expected Amid Work On Busy Worcester Roadways
The work will begin on Monday, Nov. 10, and continue through Wednesday, Nov. 12.
WORCESTER, MA — Upcoming roadwork will affect two busy roads in Worcester this week.
MassDOT work will take place on I-290 and Laurel Street in Worcester from Monday, Nov. 10, to Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Laurel Street will be completely closed to vehicle traffic from 7 p.m. on Monday through 7 a.m on Wednesday. While the overpass on that street is closed, drivers will be detoured through Prospect Street.
Beginning Monday at 11:45 p.m., there will be rolling roadblocks on both sides of I-290 through central Worcester. That will continue overnight until 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
Beginning Tuesday at 11:45 p.m., there will be rolling roadblocks on the westbound side of I-290 through central Worcester. That will continue overnight until 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
