1 Dead In Worcester Double-Shooting
The shooting was reported early Friday morning along Lakeside Avenue.
WORCESTER, MA — One person died early Friday after a shooting near the Lakeside Apartments in Worcester. A second person was injured in the shooting, according to police.
The shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. Friday near a set of basketball courts along Garland Street, Worcester police said in a Facebook post.
The victim died at a local hospital, and the other victim suffered serious injuries and is still in the hospital, police said.
Police did not immediately make any arrests, and the incident is still under investigation.
