Double-Shooting In Worcester Apartment Leads To 2 Arrests
The shooting happened early Wednesday morning along Coes Street, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police made two arrests early Wednesday morning after a double-shooting inside an apartment along Coes Street.
Police responded to near Buffum and Coes streets around 2:30 a.m. after receiving an alert about gunshots in the area. After hearing gunshots, police saw two men running from the apartment building.
Police arrested John Guzman, of Illinois Street, and charged him with two counts of assault by gun, two counts of armed assault to murder, use of a gun in a felony, firing a gun within 500 feet of a building and various gun law violations. Jacob Rosa, of Coes Street, was arrested and charged with gun law violations, police said.
The two shooting victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment, but Worcester police did not immediately say what condition they were in.
