Dozens Arrested In Worcester Prostitution Sting

During the two day operation police arrested ten women charged with offering to engage in sexual conduct for a fee and seven men.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester Police Department's Vice Squad netted dozens of arrests in a prostitution sting on Thursday and Friday. The sting happened in the Main South neighborhood and 16 people were arrested in total.

Officers conducted the operations after receiving complaints from local business owners and residents regarding drug activity and prostitution. The current strategy behind these types of operations involves targeting the “buyers”. The female arrestees are offered pre arraignment services through District Attorney Joseph Early’s Office.

On Friday, ten women were arrested and charged with offering to engage in sexual conduct for a fee. Six men were arrested and charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee.

The men are:

  • Steven Harris, 27-years old of 9 Sigourney Street, Worcester
  • Angel Lugo, 58-years old of 12 Shrewsbury Green Drive, Shrewsbury
  • Ramadan Mohamed Ahmed, 31-years old of 687 Millbury Street, Worcester
  • Daniel Seda, 41-years old, of 16 Perkins Street, Worcester
  • John Ward, 58-years old of 7 Mill Street, Webster
  • James Ward, 44-years old of 19 Oak Street, Barre.
