Drive-by Shooting Leads To Car Crash

A drive-by shooting in Worcester caused a car to crash into a wall, injuring both the driver and passenger.

Worcester police are looking for a shooter who caused a car to crash into a wall at the intersection of Providence and Pattison streets. The crash occurred at 10 p.m. Sunday, when someone pulled up behind a car traveling on Pattison Street and opened fire.

The driver of the first car sped off to escape the shooting and lost control of the car, hitting a wall. The 21-year-old female driver and a 23-year-old male passenger were injured in the crash, police said.

The victim's car had several bullet holes in it and a parked car was also found to have been hit by a stray bullet.

The shooter is still on the loose. Worcester police are still investigating. Anyone with information should call the Detective Bureau at 508-799-8651.
