WORCESTER, MA- The two Edible Arrangements stores in Worcester are collaborating to help one employee pay for the prosthetic leg she needs.

Alyssa Noonan is a part-time employee with Edible Arrangements and was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency. She had to have her right leg amputated when she was 18-months-old. Noonan recently noticed her old prosthetic leg wasn't giving her full mobility because it was too old. She needed to buy a new prosthetic leg which costs about $125,000 total. While her insurance picked up most of the tab, she was still left with $36,000 to pay- in stepped her coworkers.

The Edible Arrangements teams from the Pleasant Street and Grafton Street locations will be donating 10% of all strawberry boxes sold in March towards Alyssa’s cause. Additional donations can be made to Worcester Police Department Credit Union – Alyssa Noonan Fund as well.
