WORCESTER, MA — Unofficial results from the Nov. 3 election in Worcester show city voters overwhelmingly siding with Democratic candidates in races ranging from president to the Worcester County Register of Probate.
Turnout hit 64 percent in Worcester, slightly higher than the 63 percent who turned out in the 2016 presidential election.
Apart from the presidential race, Worcester voters were choosing sides in a U.S. House race, two statewide ballot questions, a U.S. Senate race and the Register of Probate race between Republican incumbent Stephanie Fattman and John Dolan.
The Register of Probate race had not been called as of 9 a.m. on Nov. 4, but Fattman was leading across the county with about 54 percent of the vote. Dolan, however, had routed Fattman in the city of Worcester alone.
