Extreme Cold Closes Worcester Schools

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester Public Schools are closed on Friday, Dec. 16.

The school administration announced that the schools will be closed due to extreme weather. The DAB building will remain open.

The National Weather Serviceissued for Worcester a high wind warning through 4 a.m. on Dec. 16, a a wind chill advisory until 11 a.m. on Dec. 16, and predicts a high of 14 on Friday with wind gusts as high as 31 mph.
