2 Displaced After Fire At Worcester Duplex

The 2-alarm fire in Worcester was reported just after 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

WORCESTER, MA — Two people were displaced after a 2-alarm fire in a duplex along Warwick Street on Friday afternoon, according to the department. No one was injured in the fire.

The fire was reported just after 3:30 p.m. Friday, but firefighters had it under control by around 4 p.m. The cause of the fire was under investigation, according to the department.

The fire broke out in a neighborhood just under a mile west of the home where Worcester firefighter Jason Menard died in November.
