Former Worcester Tax Preparer Sentenced For Fraud
Sebastian Adzadi prepared thousands of tax returns at his Skylimits Tax Service and Consulting in Worcester, according to prosecutors.
WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man who prepared thousands of federal tax returns was sentenced on Monday for tax fraud. Sebastian Adzadi, 45, was charged with one count of aiding and assisting in the preparation and presentation of false income tax returns.
Azadi owned the Skylimits Tax Service and Consulting firm, where he helped people file returns between 2013 and 2016. According to prosecutors, Azadi falsified the itemized deductions section of some returns, resulting in a tax loss of about $829,000.
A judge sentenced Azadi to time served, one year of supervised release, and to pay over $131,000 in restitution.
