Four Worcester Men Charged With Fentanyl Distribution
Officers found heroin in the car the men were driving and fentanyl in the garage they were congregating in.
WORCESTER, MA — Four Worcester men were arrested on Thursday and charged with fentanyl distribution, among other things. The arrests came after police noticed one man on a motorized bike making, what looked like drug hand-offs, to several passing cars.
Police saw the man, identified as Adalberto Rivera, on Stoneland Road, meet with several cars, and leave holding cash, police said. Officers stopped one of the cars, and found two bags of heroin on the suspected buyer, according to police.
When police went to arrest Rivera he was turning into a garage where three other men were. The men were identified as Edwin Torres, Joel Caraballo and Jose Martinez. According to police, officers saw drug paraphernalia and what appeared to be heroin in the garage. Police secured the area while officers applied for a search warrant, and the three men were arrested.
After police searched the garage they found a stolen dirt bike, rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, bags of what appeared to be heroin, and bags of what appeared to be fentanyl, according to police.
All four men are facing fentanyl and heroin distribution charges.
