Free Coronavirus Testing In Worcester: Thanksgiving Week

There are two free coronavirus testing events in Worcester ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

WORCESTER, MA — Free coronavirus testing events will go forward rain or shine this week in Worcester ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

City officials are advising residents to stay home for the holiday this year, but free testing sites have seen a boom over the past week as people prepare to spend time with family. Both of this week's events in Worcester will happen at the Mercantile Center, 201 Commercial St.

  • Nov. 23, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Nov. 24, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There's also a testing site open this week at Quinsigamond Community College, 670 West Boylston St., run by AIDS Project Worcester through the state's Stop the Spread program. Make an appointment for a drive-up test by calling (508) 847-0623. Here are the Thanksgiving week testing times:

  • Nov. 23, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed noon to 1 p.m.)
  • Nov. 24, 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Nov. 25, 8 a.m to 1 p.m.
