Free Ice Skating In Worcester For MLK Jr. Holiday
The skating rink behind Worcester City Hall will be free for anyone to use on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

WORCESTER, MA — After volunteering on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, you can unwind with some free ice skating in downtown Worcester.
The oval ice rink behind Worcester City Hall will be free for anyone to use on Monday, according to this season's sponsor, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Admission usually costs $5 for anyone over the age of 5.
The oval rink at Worcester Common is typically open during daytime hours on weekdays, and evenings on weekends. The rink opened at the 2022 Festival of Lights, and will be in place through Feb. 26.
The 12,000 square-foot rink includes a skate rental shop, food provided by the Dogfather food truck, music and holiday lights.
The oval rink in Worcester will be open Monday from 1 to 6 p.m. behind 455 Main St.
