'Get Off My Block!" Worcester Man Points Shotgun At Teen: Police
The 20-year-old had a shotgun, shells and body armor in his home, according to authorities.
WORCESTER, MA — A man who police said pointed a shotgun at his teenage neighbor while yelling at him to "Get off my block!" was arrested early Wednesday evening.
Police responded to 40 Berkmans St. after receiving a call about someone pointing a gun. Officers set up a perimeter around the home, where the suspect, Kevin Progri was poking his head out of the second-floor window. He eventually walked out and surrendered. Police said they found a shotgun, shells and body armor in his home.
Police said when Progri's teenage neighbor got back from an after-school program earlier, he pointed a shotgun and shouted "Get off my block!"
Progri, 20, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm in a felony and use of body armor in a felony.
Progri will be arraigned in Worcester District court.
