Herb Chambers Hosts “Cars & Coffee” in Westborough
Event featured a fundraiser to benefit The Jimmy Fund.
WESTBOROUGH, MA (August 13, 2019) - On August 11th, The Herb Chambers Companies, New England’s largest automotive dealership group, hosted its second “Cars & Coffee” event of the 2019 season at his Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough dealership located on Route 9. At the event, more than one thousand car enthusiasts gathered to showcase their pride and joys while admiring the prized hardware of other automotive and motorcycle devotees, exchanging stories about their cars and special experiences along the way.
In addition, this was a special “Cars & Coffee” to commemorate August as Jimmy Fund month. As a result, the Herb Chambers team, along with members of the Jimmy Fund team, accepted donations at the event to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. The Herb Chambers Companies is in its 4th year as an official partner of the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
On hand from the Herb Chambers Companies were Nicolas Gennetti, Manager of Operations at the Herb Chambers Companies; Tony Klarakis, Marketing Director at the Herb Chambers Companies; Nicole Martin, Executive Assistant to the President at the Herb Chambers Companies; Mackenzie Malloy, Social Media and Reputation Specialist at the Herb Chambers Companies; and Miguel Silva, General Manager of Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough.
Representing The Jimmy Fund were Josh Currier, Associate Director for Corporate Partnerships and Raquel Morales, Associate Director for Event Fundraising.
Also at the event - Southborough’s Nicole Lefavour won an autographed baseball signed by Red Sox Catcher Christian Vazquez. The 10-year-old Lefavour received the prize after winning a raffle at the event, and was presented with the baseball by Raquel Morales of The Jimmy Fund.
The next Herb Chambers’ “Cars & Coffee” event is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th at Herb Chambers Lexus of Hingham.
