Holden Man Seriously Injured in Worcester Crash Over Weekend
The reconstruction team is still investigating an early Saturday morning crash that sent the driver to the hospital with serious injuries.

WORCESTER, MA — A Holden man sustained several serious injuries after an early morning crash in Worcester this weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 26, shortly after 2:30 a.m., Worcester police headed to Country Club Boulevard where a single car crash had recently occurred. They found the driver of a 2004 Nissan, a 51-year-old man from Holden, outside the vehicle sitting down and suffering from serious injuries. Worcester EMS arrived shortly thereafter. The vehicle had extensive front end damage.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment with a serious injury to the left hip and left leg along with chest and head trauma, and was rushed in to emergency surgery.
Investigators say the Nissan was headed north on CC Blvd. when he veered across the double solid line and struck a light pole on the south side of the road, then struck a tree.
This investigation is ongoing. No citations have been issued at this time.
