Home Invasion Leads to 1 Arrest for Drugs; Suspects on the Loose
Police are looking for suspects after a home invasion on Sunderland Road.

WORCESTER, MA—On Thursday, Nov. 3, at approximately 9:26 p.m., Worcester police were called to a Sunderland Road apartment from a woman inside her home, frantic and stating that an intruder was inside. The call had been disconnected before getting information.
An officer arrived on the scene and spotted a man walking away from the apartment building; the man was holding a bag. The officer asked the man which apartment he had come from, and he answered with inconsistencies that made the officer suspicious. The man eventually admitted he just came from the apartment in question.
The man was asked to place the bag on the ground, and it was searched for potential weapons. As it hit the ground, it sounded like something heavy was inside, said police. Inside, he found a large glass jar filled with marijuana, and another smaller glass jar also filled with the drug.
Christopher Crocker, 20, Epworth Street, Worcester. Crocker was charged with Possession of Class D with the Intent to Distribute.
At this time several other police officers arrived at the scene, and they went to the apartment and met with three males and three females with ages ranging from 19 to 20 years of age. Crocker was also a part of the group.
Police were told that one of the male victims had arrived a little while ago and rang the door buzzer. The male was buzzed into the building. As the male entered the apartment building three unknown males rushed in after him and forced him to take then to the apartment where his friends were. One male suspect was in possession of a handgun, said police. According to police, the suspects went inside and forced all the occupants to the floor and searched the apartment, and then fled. They were seen getting into a small car.
One male was struck in the back of the head with the handle of the weapon but declined medical assistance. There were no other injuries reported.
The suspects were described as three light complexion black males, all in their early twenties with all wearing hooded sweatshirts. No further suspect information available at this time.
Although this investigation is in the early stages, it appears at this time that the incident was not a random act, said authorities.
