Illegal Gun In Worcester Leads To 3 Arrests

The car was stopped for a traffic violation but police found a pistol inside.

WORCESTER, MA — A traffic stop by State Police in Worcester ended in an illegal gun charge on Monday night. State police said three men are being charged for an illegal pistol they found inside of the car.

The men were identified as Farlin Etheart of Walpole, Troy Kennedy and Nakwan Fielder, both of Dorchester. Police found a Jennings Nine 9mm pistol in the car. None of the men in the car had a license to carry a gun.

All three were placed under arrest and held on $240 bail each.

All three men are charged with the following:

1. Possession / carrying firearm

2. Carrying a loaded firearm

3. Possession of ammunition without FID card.
