Join Your Neighborhood Watch Group: Worcester PD Announces Meetings

WORCESTER, MA— Neighborhood Watch Group meetings are an opportunity to improve police-citizens communication and allow officers to more effectively use and share crime information with the public, explains the Worcester Police Department in a recent announcement reminding residents.

Members of the Neighborhood Response Team attend the city’s 52 Neighborhood Watch Groups. Meetings are held on a regular basis, often once a month, in various locations in the city. Attending your Neighborhood Watch Meeting gives you an opportunity to get to know officers, provide information about neighborhood concerns, meet other residents, and bring the latest information from police to your neighbors.

Monday, April 10

Providence Street Neighborhood Watch – 74 Providence St. at 5:30 p.m.

Lake Park Towers Neighborhood Meeting – 11 Lake Ave. at 1 p.m.

Pleasant Street Crime Watch – First Congressional Church 1070 Pleasant St. at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, April 11

Curran Apartments Neighborhood Meeting – 252 Providence St. at 1 p.m.

Lake View Neighborhood Watch – 33 Coburn Ave. at 7 p.m.

Booth Apartments Community Meeting – 1 Haven Lane at 10 a.m.

Illinois Street Crime Watch – 51 Illinois St. at 6 p.m.
