WORCESTER, MA—Let it flow, let it flow.

On June 18, the Sewer Department is planting a rain garden on Northeast Cutoff, at which rain from the street will flow into that garden and feed the plants there. It'll allow water to filter through the ground before heading off to Lake Quinsigamond.
"This removes contaminants like oil and nutrients, which can lead to algal blooms," explains the DPW. "The rain garden also provides the curb visual benefits, instead of scrub and brush it grows beautiful grasses and flowers."
