Main South Prostitution Sting Brings Charges to 10
Ten people were arrested and charged with sex offenses during a sting in downtown Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA — A prostitution sting conducted by the Worcester Police Department’s Vice Squad on Friday resulted in ten arrests for sexual offenses.
On Feb. 19 starting around 6 a.m., members of the Vice Squad conducted a sting operation in the Main South area to combat drug and prostitution activity.
Men and women officers worked as undercover decoys in order to attract prostitutes and “Johns,” after neighbors and businesses had complained about sex trade activity in the neighborhood.
The following were arrested for sex for a fee offense:
Jose, Gonzalez, 56, of 100 Endicott St., Worcester
Josue Rivera, 34, of 9 Townsend St., Worcester
Kelvin Ojeda, 35, of 36 New Vista Lane, Worcester
Casey Carden, 44, of 13014 Ambassador Drive, Westborough
