Man Caught Holding Bag Of Drugs While Driving: Worcester Police
When an officer approached the car, the 46-year-old driver was holding a bag of possible crack cocaine, police said.
WORCESTER, MA — Typically, police have make an effort to find drugs hidden in vehicles. A Worcester officer had it a little easier on Wednesday when he pulled over a driver who was holding a bag full of drugs in his hand.
An officer stopped Angel Manuel Lopez-Ramos, 46, along Main Street in the Main South neighborhood just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. The license plate attached to Lopez-Ramos' car was from another vehicle, police said.
When the officer approached the driver's side window, Lopez-Ramos was holding a bag of crack cocaine in one hand, police said. There was another bag of suspected rock cocaine sitting on the passenger seat, police said.

After a brief struggle, officers arrested Lopez-Ramos on drug and motor vehicle charges, including possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute, interfering with an officer, and illegally attaching license plates.
