Man Charged With Stabbing 2 Last Month During Argument
A Worcester man is charged with armed assault to murder, and other charges, following a stabbing last month.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man is facing several charges in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Constitution Ave. in Worcester last month.
After an investigation, police, with warrant in hand, sought out Edwin Rivera, 40, Lafayette Street, Worcester, and arrested him with a Dangerous Weapon, Armed Robbery, and Armed Assault to Murder on Jan. 3.
Officers found Rivera hiding under a mattress before arresting him.
Rivera was allegedly involved in a stabbing that happened on Friday Dec. 2, around 1:44 a.m. near 292 Constitution Ave. A 33-year-old man and 18-year-old woman had been stabbed, the man suffering from wounds to his chest and legs and the woman from a wound to her leg.
The victims were reportedly inside an apartment when Rivera was inside as well, an argument ensuing between Rivera and the female victim and Rivera. After stabbing the victims, he fled on foot toward Boylston Street.
