Gary Goyette, 27, got into an altercation with Worcester officers over the weekend, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man who had previously been indicted over a 2015 shooting in the city was re-arrested on Friday after getting into a scuffle with officers, according to police.
Worcester police spotted Gary Goyette, 27, while he was walking along Dorchester Street in the Union Hill area on Friday evening. According to police, Goyette was wanted on warrants for weapons charges and a charge of armed assault to murder.
When officers approached Goyette, he "gave a false name, then pushed one of the officers and took off running," Worcester police said in a news release.
