SUTTON, MA—The driver involved in a police chase in Sutton has died after crashing head-on into two other cars during a high-speed chase in town Monday morning.

An officer shortly after 7 a.m. spotted a 2003 white Ford F150 speeding at 50 mph in a 30mph zone when the officer turned on his lights to pull the truck over. The truck sped up and rounded several corners with the officer following, when after about a mile west on Whitins Road he found the driver had crashed head-on into two other vehicles.

The driver, the sole occupant in the car, was found "lifeless and entrapped" and was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the two other vehicles, a 16-year-old girl from Douglas and a 55-year-old Douglas man, suffered minor injuries and sought medical attention on their own, leaving the scene.
