WORCESTER, MA — A man shot and seriously wounded in Worcester on Christmas has died, the police department reported on Monday.

The 29-year-old died on Saturday after being shot multiple times Dec. 25 inside a Webster Street home, Worcester police said. The 5 a.m. shooting happened following a party at the home.

Worcester police said the shooting is still under investigation, and have not announced any arrested related to the killing.

The Webster Square shooting came just a few weeks after Marcus Thibodeau and James Michael Johnson Jr. were shot and killed outside the Diamond Inn bar along Grafton Street. Those two deaths were the fourth and fifth homicides that occurred in Worcester in 2021.
