DUDLEY, MA — A 26-year-old man was shot early Wednesday morning during a home invasion in Dudley, according to local police. The shooting happened around midnight at a home in a neighborhood east of the downtown area, police said. The victim was shot in the chest and was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester for treatment, and is expected to survive. A woman and two children at the home were not injured. Dudley police were still searching for the shooter, but said the shooting was not a random act. Anyone with tips should contact Dudley police at 508-943-4411.
