Man Shot In The Gut In Worcester: Police
The people who shot the man got away from police.
WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are looking for the people who shot a man in the stomach on Tuesday night and drove away. The man was treated by paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital, according to police.
Police responded to a report of gunshots going off near Harlem and South Ward Street around 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday. When they got there they found a man on the sidewalk who had been shot in the stomach. Witnesses told police the man was walking when "a couple of people got out of a car and began to shoot at him," according to police.
Police said the man was shot once and the car drove away.
