MILLBURY, MA — A man was wounded in a shooting at a Millbury movie theater over the weekend, according to police. The shooting happened on Saturday just before 9 p.m. outside the Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema de Lux at the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley. The police department said the man was shot in the shoulder, but his injuries were not life-threatening. The shooting happened at the upper entrance to the theater, which is between a Qdoba restaurant and an UNO Pizzeria. Millbury police did not immediately announce any arrests connected to the movie theater shooting, but were collecting tips from anyone who witnessed the incident.
