Man Shot At Pair Driving In Worcester: Police

The Monday morning incident created property damage, but two people escaped without injuries.

WORCESTER, MA — Two people escaped without injuries following a shooting Monday morning in Worcester.

According to police, a 21-year-old man opened fire on a car driving along Millbury Street. The two people in the vehicle were not hit, but police discovered property damage in the area.

Police were able to get a description of the shooter, and found the person near the scene of the shooting at Endicott and Ward streets. The Endicott Street resident was arrested and charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, vandalism, discharging a gun within 500 feet of a building and several weapons violations.
