Man And Woman Charged With Drug Possession
Police said the man and woman were caught selling crack cocaine.
WORCESTER, MA- Worcester police said they were watching Main and Oread Street when they saw a drug sale happen, according to police.
Sugeyn Vega, 42, and Miguel Romero, 23, were aimlessly walking up and down Main Street between King St and Oread Place. According to police the area is common for street level narcotics dealers.
According to police, two men went up to Vega and Romero and counted out several bills in their hands and passed it to them. Vega then made a signal to Romero, who looked around, as if watching for police, according to police. Romero then took something out of his mouth and handed it to the buyer, police said.
When officers approached the buyer, they said they found crack cocaine and arrested Vega and Romero and charged them with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws.
