Masked Men Invade Home, Hold Several at Gunpoint for Nearly an Hour, Steal Car

Police are investigating two home invasions over the weekend in Worcester, the suspects robbing a home and stealing a Mercedes.

WORCESTER, MA — Police are seeking information to find three suspects who allegedly robbed two residences at gunpoint over the weekend.

Around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, Worcester police headed to 2 Blodgett Place, which had just been invaded by at least three suspects armed with firearms. All of the suspects had fled before police got there.

Police got information that a second call for a home invasion came in shortly thereafter, close by at 6 Blodgett Place. There were also several adult victims at the address.

Investigators say that the three were armed with guns and forced their way into 2 Blodgett Place, holding the suspects at gunpoint inside the apartment for at least 45 minutes to an hour. As the residents were held at gunpoint, the suspects ransacked the home, stealing money and jewelry. While the suspects were still inside the apartment, an 18 year old male resident of the apartment arrived home. The suspects grabbed the 18 year old male’s car keys and attempted to force the male into the car with them. The 18 year old victim was able to break free and flee into nearby 6 Blodgett Place with the suspects chasing him. The 18 year old male was able to escape by jumping out of a window. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s Mercedes.
