Mass. Ex-Cop Found Dead Day He Was Due To Plead Guilty For Stealing Evidence
This former police officer was expected to plead guilty for stealing from an evidence room. He was found unresponsive the same day.

WILBRAHAM, MA—A former Massachusetts police officer has been found dead on the same day he was due to plead guilty for stealing from the Springfield department's evidence room, reports WHDH-TV Channel 7.
Kevin Burnham, 68, was found unresponsive in his home during the afternoon and pronounced dead at the hospital. The death is still under investigation.
Burnham was indicted last year for larceny, accused of taking $400,000 in narcotics evidence during a time that he worked as evidence officer, reports MassLive. The Hampton County district attorney confirmed to media that his death was "unattended."
