MASSive Comic Con Adds Two New Celebrities, Both Actors in Pirates of the Caribbean, Kevin McNally and Martin Klebba
MASSive Comic Con has just announced that two new celebrity guests have been added to the show lineup!

MASSive Comic Con has just announced that two new celebrity guests have been added to the show lineup who are sure to please fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Actors Kevin McNally and Martin Klebba will appear at MASSive Comic Con on June 24 and 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester. McNally and Klebba are veterans of the Pirates of the Caribbean films and will be featured in the fifth installment launching in May 2017: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
“The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series is such a comic con fan favorite and we are fortunate to bring Kevin McNally and Martin Klebba to MASSive Comic Con,” said Chris Proulx, co-founder of MASSive Comic Con. “Our show has great opportunities for fans to interact with McNally, Klebba and other celebrity guests as well as comic writers, artists, and participate in the many on-site activities, which are included in their ticket price.”
McNally and Klebba join other celebrity guests Diamond Dallas Page, recently inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame and three-time world champion professional wrestler; another WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Huffman Jr., better known by his ring name Booker T; and actor and musician Chester Rushing, best known for his role of Tommy H. on Netflix’s critically acclaimed series, “Stranger Things.”
Families will be able to take advantage of MASSive Comic Con’s policy of free admission for children 10 and under with a paid adult admission. Kids will have the opportunity to participate in their own Kids Con, with programming specifically geared towards them. The Kids Con, operated by Aw Yeah Comics, will be a place where kids can experience the comic convention at their own level. On Sunday, June 25, there will be a Kids Costume Contest.
Adding to the fan experience are: movie car appearances by the Massachusetts Ghost Busters, Hero Army cosplayers and the 501st New England (Star Wars characters), exclusive panels, table top gaming, video game tournaments, light saber training classes and a Pirate Scavenger Hunt that enters participants into a raffle to win a treasure chest with great prizes. For attendees who want to continue socializing, there are several after-hours events including an after-party at the DCU Center on Saturday evening from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., hosted by the New England Brethren of Pirates and “Drink and Draw” featuring many of the show’s comic creators.

Sunday, June 25 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Celebrity Guest Background:
Kevin McNally is a long time actor in both film and TV whose career ascended after his work in Doctor Who: The Twin Dilemma in 1984. McNally shot to international fam as pirate Joshamee Gibbs, his best known role, in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and the sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. He returned to the role of Gibbs in the third and fourth installments of the Pirates franchise: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He will also appear in the fifth and latest installment opening worldwide in May 2017, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Recently, McNally also stars as General Harris Cochrane on the hit ABC series Designated Survivor.
Martin Klebba is an actor and stunt performer best known for his role as Marty, one of Captain Jack Sparrow’s Black Pearl Crew in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He will be continuing in this role in the latest Pirates movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tails opening worldwide in May 2017. Martin is also known for his appearance in films, Mirror, Mirror, Ted 2 and Left Behind. Klebba also runs a nonprofit foundation called Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy, which gives 100% of its donations to the cause of helping little people.
