Memorial Day in Worcester: What You Need To Know

WORCESTER, MA — Monday, May 27, is Memorial Day, and the city has several events scheduled. Leading up to the holiday itself is a water ceremony at Elk Park at 2 p.m. on Saturday. On Monday, an Observance Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at Hope Cemetery.
At 11 a.m. on Monday, a wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Green Hill Park. The ceremony is sponsored by the Perpetual Care Committee of the Memorial.
